The company has competency to provide equipment for all telecommunications
requirements. This includes active equipment like routers, satellite equipment,
microwave solutions, fibre solutions and passive equipment like rectifiers, batteries
and specialised indoor and outdoor cabinets. Tondnet does consultative selling and the
tries to understands the needs of the customer and technical drivers before proposing a
solution. Tondnet is able to source critical spares for telecommunications networks
and provide testing equipment.
Network planning, installation and support
Tondnet is able to do network planning. It can do installations for several
technologies, including dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM),
synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH), Internet Protocol (IP), microwave, 4G, 5G, GSM
infrastructure installation, green energy, rectifiers, and diesel generators. Tondnet can provide maintenance for all the equipment it installs.
Voice and SIP trunking
Products based on diverse relationships with PTT’s, ISP’s, and Mobile Operators in
the region. Retail for Voice Termination for A-Z destinations billed in USD or ZAR for
both large blue chip and SME customers. Wholesale Voice Termination for carriers via our
own international voice connect agreements such as Zamtel, Namibia Telecom,
Namibia MTC Mobile, and Mauritius telecom. DDI Rental –we supply local South
African Geographic and non Geographic monthly line rentals, and sip trunking for
foreign companies looking for a local foot print. Number Portability to port existing
numbers to our network to enable both inbound and outbound call termination. DDI
Rental and Two voices services currently offered for Namibia, Lesotho, and soon
Botswana. SIP Trunking for outbound call termination for business PABX (local and
international). We offer a number of configurations for SIP trunking. Existing
Customer with own routing switch –Customer signs agreement and simply adds us a
supplier. Existing Customer contracted to PABX reseller with option to add alternative
carrier –Customer complains about rates and recommends us to their supplier. New
Customer –we recommend a hosted PABX supplier, and that supplier will use us for
Termination.

Radware Inc. is an American provider of cybersecurity and application delivery
products for physical, cloud and software-defined data centers. Tondnet Data Pty Ltd
promotes Radware products and services in Africa. Radware's products and services
include cloud services (Cloud WAF, Cloud DDoS Protection, Cloud Workload
Protection, Cloud Web Acceleration, Cloud Malware Protection, and Bot Manager),
application and network security (DefensePro, AppWall, DefenseFlow), application
delivery and load balancing (Alteon, AppWall, FastView, AppXML, LinkProof NG),
and management and monitoring (APSolute Vision, MSSP Portal, Application
Performance Monitoring, vDirect). The customers for these Radware products and
services include financial services, insurance, e-Commerce, manufacturing, retail,
government, healthcare, education, and transportation services and carriers.
The company has the competency to do consultancy in telecommunications. The
consultancy arm has a number of competencies in the telecommunication sector, including cybersecurity analysis requirements review, business development, IT
networks design, and telecommunications networks design. Scoping a project, moving
projects from idea to tendering stage, project financing, project implementation, and
project management are key Tondnet Data strengths. The consultancy is able to use
different equipment suppliers in the solution designs.
Tondnet is active in the capacity business. The solutions it provides include short-term leases, long-term leases, and indefeasible rights of use (IRU). These solutions are provided using different types of technologies, from software-defined wide area
networks (SD-WAN), Ethernet (EoMPLS), dense wavelength division multiplexing
(DWDM), synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) and different networks using fibre,
satellite and microwave. The company can provide wholesale internet and bespoke
solutions tailor-made for high-end enterprises.

Tonderai Sibanda
Tonderai has an electrical engineering degree and is a business graduate at the doctoral
level. He is a business consultant with experience in sales, marketing, management,
business development, satellite services, telecommunications, engineering, logistics, and energy. Using his engineering and business acumen, Tonderai can take
abstract ideas and turn them into workable, tangible, executable solutions. Tonderai has experience indata analytics, which is useful for financial modelling of projects and predicting demand trends for solutions and services.
